SIEMENS LAUNCHES BUILDING X SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER

The application collects, stores, and analyzes data from an organization’s utility bills to help recognize successes and identify opportunities for improvements.

SIEMENS LAUNCHES BUILDING X SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER

Siemens has launched Building X® Sustainability Manager, a new application within its Building X digital building platform, to help organizations achieve their sustainability and net-zero goals.

Building X Sustainability Manager aggregates relevant and trusted data from building utility bills and analyzes it to provide insight into energy costs and consumption, energy budget analysis, carbon emission reporting, and energy supply contract management. In addition, customized dashboards and widgets allow stakeholders to communicate and report sustainability performance for a portfolio of buildings, centrally monitor sustainability initiatives, and continuously improve operations to benefit the organization. The application is available at three subscription levels, which allows organizations to begin their sustainability journey with quick initiatives or continue it with significant or broad changes.

ESG frameworks and regulations can change quickly and staying current with updates can be time-consuming. The application provides current information on local and global frameworks and regulations, such as Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor (CRREM), and New York City Local Law 97, that can affect sustainability efforts.
