IIoT Measurement Solutions for HVAC at MCE

WIKA will participate in Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) to present measurement solutions and IIoT platforms designed for the HVAC, refrigeration, and heating sectors. The initiative takes place within the international exhibition focused on integrating technologies for environmental comfort, renewable energy, and water management, with applications in industrial, residential, and commercial environments.

Context of the Cooperation
WIKA’s participation in MCE reflects the growing convergence between measurement technologies and digital infrastructure in HVAC+R systems. The exhibition serves as a meeting point for manufacturers, designers, integrators, and installers, providing a technical environment for evaluating solutions focused on energy efficiency, predictive maintenance, and continuous system monitoring.

WIKA contributes expertise in industrial sensors and monitoring solutions, while the exhibition platform enables validation and comparison of technologies within a professional ecosystem that requires interoperability and integration with existing systems.

Technical Solution and Responsibilities
Among the technologies presented are IIoT measurement solutions for HVAC based on a cloud platform dedicated to monitoring and managing operational data. The objective is to support industrial applications through continuous process parameter acquisition and integration with supervisory systems.

The Air2Guide IIoT-ready range includes instruments designed for HVAC+R environments with analog and digital signal transmission (Modbus®) as well as wireless communication via LoRaWAN®. Devices on display include the A2G-500 differential pressure sensor, the A2G-520 differential pressure sensor for airflow measurement, and the A2G-540 differential pressure and airflow controller.

The instruments can be configured via the WIKA app and NFC technology, with interface options including buttons, LEDs, or displays depending on the version. Reading parameter files via NFC and smartphone enables more structured technical documentation during installation and maintenance phases.

Deployment and Integration
The solutions are designed to integrate with existing HVAC infrastructures and building management systems. The IIoT approach enables remote monitoring, real-time data collection, and operational performance optimization through cloud-based analytics.

Mostra Convegno Expocomfort will take place from March 24 to 27 at Fiera Milano (Rho), offering technical demonstrations and application-oriented use cases for system integrators and industry professionals.

Applications and Use Cases
WIKA solutions target ventilation and air-conditioning systems, industrial and commercial refrigeration installations, heating systems, cogeneration units, and heat pumps. The use of IIoT-ready sensors supports improved process stability, enhanced energy efficiency, and simplified maintenance through greater visibility into operational parameters.
