GEZE, the specialist for innovative and modern door, window and safety technology, has already been awarded the reddot design award and the German Design Award for the innovative design and outstanding access convenience of its Revo.PRIME revolving door solution. An elegant all-glass variant of the system is now available and promises to redefine entrance areas. The Revo.PRIME GG uniquely combines design, comfort and sustainability, perfectly embodying GEZE's company philosophy of designing buildings that are not only functional, but also liveable.
Design meets functionality and transparency
True to its claim "All glass – all aesthetics", the Revo.PRIME all-glass variant impresses with its almost fully concealed components. It has a minimal canopy height of 17 mm and extremely narrow profiles of only 60 mm, with rounded edges. The drive and control technology is concealed in the floor, further emphasising the purist look. The underfloor drive with an installation depth of at least 180 mm fits into any standard floor structure. This gives architects maximum creative freedom, complemented by sophisticated transparency: a glass roof consisting of two half-shells made of heat strengthened soda lime silicate glass, held in place by stainless steel single point fixings, allowing in as much light as possible. The revolving door solution also offers the creative freedom to design custom solutions, and a wide range of equipment options. With its uncompromising aesthetics, the Revo.PRIME GG meets the highest design expectations for modern glass façades.
Maximum ease of access and remarkable energy efficiency
Revolving doors offer considerable advantages over linear sliding doors: they effectively reduce noise and dirt in the entrance area and prevent draughts very effectively, resulting in significant energy savings. The Revo.PRIME GG also stands out with reduced power consumption, enabling energy savings of up to 30 percent compared to the previous model.
It also takes ease of access to a whole new level: a brushless DC motor (BLDC) with a torque of 1,000 Nm helps the door run smoothly and allows inner diameters of up to 3,000 mm, creating more transparency and space in the entrance area. The standard clear passage height is 3,000 mm, which can be increased on request. Thanks to simple plug-and-play installation and connection to open building management systems via BACnet, the system is also particularly easy to install, efficient and secure to operate and control.
