Sauter Vision Center 9.0 enhances efficiency with analytics and forecasting

SAUTER launches Vision Center 9.0 to advance EU building decarbonization, enhance energy efficiency, improve cybersecurity, and enable predictive analytics for emissions forecasting.

Sauter Vision Center 9.0 enhances efficiency with analytics and forecasting

To accelerate the decarbonization of the European Union’s building sector, enhance energy efficiency in new and existing buildings, and reduce overall energy consumption, SAUTER introduces SAUTER Vision Center 9.0—its latest upgrade designed to meet the updated requirements of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) and Energy Efficiency Directive (EED), while prioritizing IT security at its core.

SAUTER Vision Center 9.0 introduces new functionalities and modules with the basic license, enhancing operational efficiency and better aligning with project-specific requirements for more streamlined processes.

The upgrade allows future data to be analyzed and calculated within the Energy Management and Analytics Module, enabling forecasts based on historical data, which can be converted into cost and CO2 emissions estimates. This allows direct comparison of progress toward zero emissions by 2030 and the evaluation of set targets against actual values and forecasts.

Additionally, as part of the regular cybersecurity review, and in response to feedback from PEN tests conducted by partners, several security enhancements have been implemented, significantly reducing the system’s vulnerability to cyber threats.

The highlights of SVC 9.0 include:
  • The new Building Management module offers a range of enhanced features, including the Component Inspector for area marking in images, and Triggers to start Alarm inhibitions or SVC Scenarios based on defined trigger conditions. To optimize usability and operation (UX), a completely redesigned user, role, and group management system has been implemented, and the Object Information Board has been enhanced with additional functions. Dashboards can be integrated into reports and can also be sent automatically or printed.
  • The latest updates in Energy Management include the calculation of predictive data, allowing forecasting and comparison to current data, as well as displaying it in the updated Chart Engine. Enhancements also include the Meter Exchange functionality to manage several offsets in a dedicated pop-up, along with the ability to assign Energy Navigation to groups with the appropriate rights.
  • The Security updates include improved code compliance with OWASP rules for secure coding, ensuring stronger protection against vulnerabilities. Additionally, the password management policies and LDAP functionality have been extended, enhancing security and user access control.
