With the most recent installations, thyssenkrupp Elevator provides 11 elevators, 9 escalators, 8 PBBs, and 2 iWalks at Salvador International Airport, Bahia, furthermore 13 elevators, 6 escalators, and 3 PBBs at Macapá International Airport, Amapá, 15 elevators, 8 escalators, and 10 PBBs at Florianópolis International Airport, Santa Catarina, 15 PBBs to Fortaleza Airport, and finally 18 elevators, 7 escalators, and 6 PBBs at Porto Alegre Airport, Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.

PBBs by thyssenkrupp Elevator can be controlled remotely through the innovative Remote Control System (RCS). The RCS is a combination of technology, hardware and software that allows PBBs to be safely controlled by an operator from a remote post.
Docking maneuvers are carried out by an operator using the prepositioning system that will automatically place the PBB facing the aircraft door and manually connecting it to the aircraft using the motion controls of the remote post. Undocking maneuvers are carried out using the unique fully automatic undocking function.
thyssenkrupp Elevator also offers airports around the globe an Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System (A-VDGS). It features long-range Azimuth guidance starting as soon as the airplane lands, an operating range of more than 200 meters, and automatic activation.
