Theben provides BIM data for presence and motion detectors

New BIM digital process is using a central intelligent model to manage building information across its lifecycle, from planning and design to operation.

Theben provides BIM data for presence and motion detectors

The BIM method is also becoming increasingly popular in electrical planning. Building automation components, such as presence detectors, can be integrated into the planning as BIM objects. This not only increases planning quality and cross-discipline collaboration, but also enables collision checks, mass and cost calculations and also serves as an information basis for facility management.

Configurable data for free download
And what does Theben have to do with BIM? We are now offering electrical planners comprehensive BIM data for many of our presence and motion detectors as a free download.

In addition to the display of detailed product data, movement types, mounting heights and LOG (Level of Geometry) can be individually set to obtain different 2D and 3D views. Dimensions can also be displayed based on a drawing or product image. The generated data can be downloaded as a CAD model and PDF data sheet. A PARTcommunity account is required for the download.

You can find the BIM data on the respective product pages of the Theben website under “Downloads”.

Theben CAD catalog in the BIM portal and at 3Dfindit.com
You don't have a specific Theben product in mind yet and would like to find out about Theben's complete BIM and CAD range? Then you will find all available BIM data from Theben at 3Dfindit.com, the comprehensive platform for engineers, planners, architects and purchasers. Here you can filter the presence and motion detectors in detail according to various criteria in order to find your desired product and the appropriate BIM data.

You can also search the Theben BIM range for your desired products and data in our own BIM portal.

Practical plugins for planning software
To simplify the use of BIM data in planning, plugins are available for the most important software solutions, including ALLPLAN, Archicad, AutoCAD, Revit and Vectorworks. This allows BIM data to be used directly from the CAD catalog in the respective software.
