LENNOX EMEA, a leader in the design and manufacture of HVAC and refrigeration solutions, is expanding and reinforcing its presence in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) market. The activities underpinning this new strategy will include a more focused product portfolio for the region and further development of the company’s distributor network across a growing number of countries.
An exciting new partnership will ensure companies in Sweden have access to the latest advances in high-efficiency refrigeration products for commercial and industrial applications. Sweden-based Dahl, part of the multi-national Saint-Gobain corporation, will now represent refrigeration solutions from Friga-Bohn (part of the Lennox EMEA group), a France-based leader in the manufacture of refrigeration equipment.
A number of standard unit coolers from Friga-Bohn, which supplies a wide range of market-leading refrigeration solutions to the food industry, are now fully compatible with A2L refrigerants. The unit coolers support use with both new A2L refrigerants such as R1234yf, R454C and R455C, as well as existing HFC refrigerant solutions. As a result, a single unit can provide for present and future requirements, reducing inventory for wholesalers and easing selection choices for installers.
LENNOX EMEA, a market-leading player in the design and manufacture of heating, air conditioning, air treatment and refrigeration equipment, through its three brands Lennox, Friga-Bohn and HK Refrigeration, is hosting a content-rich ‘Learning Month’, which will run from April 15th to May 15th. Learning Month will comprise a series of free online webinars (in local languages) that provide professionals in the HVAC-R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) industry with targeted insight and strategy to take their skills to the next level.
Lennox EMEA is pleased to announce that Paulo Andrade has been appointed as the new HVAC Sales Director for Lennox EMEA. He will continue the Lennox EMEA strategy, focusing on technologies diversification, while keeping customer focus at heart.
A Lidl supermarket in the suburbs of Paris is becoming the world’s first user of the e-Baltic unit for energy-efficient delivery of hot and cold air. Lidl a pioneer in the ecological transition and committed to control its energy footprint has partnered-up with class-leading air-handling specialist Lennox to install advanced e-Baltic rooftop units in its new stores.
As Lennox, air-handling specialist, is just launching the first R32 rooftop on the market, a Lidl supermarket is becoming the world’s first user of the e-Baltic units for energy-efficient delivery of hot and cold air. The advanced e-Baltic units, commissioned in January 2020, are fully compliant to the forthcoming 2021 Ecodesign regulation, and the French response to the EPBD regulations, RT2012. This world-first installation is seen as a key milestone in the industry and, moving forward, the Lennox strategy is to adopt R32 as a replacement for R410A due to its low Global Warming Potential (677 versus 1924) and its affordability.
Lennox has recently expanded its eCOMFORT portfolio with new models ranging from 170 to 400 kW*. Using R32 refrigerant, these additions will allow customers to achieve greater energy efficiency while reducing the environmental impact.
Lennox has expanded its range of chillers with new options for installers and engineers who wish to move away from R410A and R134a, to low-GWP alternatives – including the world’s first inverter scroll chiller for use with R32.
