Delta to Show New PV Inverters with Advanced Connectivity and Cloud-based Monitoring at 2019 EnerGaia

Delta, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions‘, will be exhibiting at this year’s EnerGaia in Montpellier, France the newly-launched M70A solar PV inverter, which offers 77 kVA maximum AC apparent power for ground-mounted and commercial solar rooftop systems. In addition to the M70A, the full range of Delta photovoltaic inverters as well as the new MyDeltaSolar Cloud and PV monitoring apps will also be featured. Several Delta inverters now ship with both Wi-Fi communications and RS485 as standard equipment. Combined with the new cloud-based monitoring platform, this gives operators more advanced capabilities for remote setup, monitoring, and control of solar photovoltaic systems.

EPLAN Sets New Data Standard in Control and Switchgear Construction

By implementing a new data standard, software solutions provider EPLAN contributes to further simplifying control and switchgear construction. The new standard increases the quality of article and device data in EPLAN Data Portal, a web service offering product catalogues from numerous component manufacturers. Several thousand data sets – for instance from Rittal, leading provider of enclosure systems and IT infrastructure – are already available at this premium level, and additional well-known component manufacturers are working on providing data in line with this new standard.

Rohde & Schwarz together with Fraunhofer Institutes HHI and IAF join forces in researching 6G at THz frequencies

While the new 5G technology is at the first stages of rollout, Rohde & Schwarz, the Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich Hertz Institute, HHI and the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid State Physics IAF are taking a step further with demonstrations in the terahertz (THz) frequency band, related to the 6th generation wireless mobile communication (6G). The collaboration has resulted in a wireless transmit and receive system operating between 270 and 320 GHz, with further frequency extensions for potential 6G bands already in preparation.
