At the world-leading trade fair for the construction industry, BAU 2025 in Munich (January 13-17, 2025), dormakaba will present its latest developments and innovations in access solutions at Hall B1, Stand 319, under the motto "For Every Place That Matters.".

dormakaba announces a groundbreaking innovation in sustainable property management: a new fire-tested battery backup for uninterrupted power supply (ED UPS) to the door automation (ED 100/250).

The key topics of the event were Sustainable Strategy, Sustainable Design and Sustainable Innovation, which were intensively discussed among dormakaba representatives and eight architects from well-known international architectural firms.

dormakaba has signed an agreement with Avinor Group covering the sale and maintenance of 450 Argus Air eGate solutions. The agreement with a volume in the single-digit millions (CHF) runs over ten years. With this, dormakaba becomes an exclusive supplier of self-boarding and boarding-pass-validation gates for all state-owned Norwegian airports.

Dormakaba has won four awards at this year's ICONIC AWARD 2021: Innovative Architecture. From a total of 878 entries, 70 of them in the category "Product", three products were honored with the "Best of Best" label for outstanding submissions. Awards were given to the KTV swing doors, the LA GARD 700 safe locks and the Skyfold Classic 55 partition wall system.
